The Trustees Building/Facilities Committee provides guidance, oversight, and expertise to the Board in the following areas: (1) Long-range planning; (2) Operations and general maintenance; (3) Capital projects planning; (4) Facilities-related policies and procedures; and (5) Building consultant interface. Marketing Committee

The Trustees Marketing Committee goes hand-in-hand with the Fundraising Committee to build relationships and expand outreach. We create awareness of the library and by extension, our historic building we need to support and maintain. The committee builds marketing campaigns, organizes and promotes events, and posts on social media platforms. FIND OUT MORE

Finance Committee

The Trustees Finance Committee provides financial oversight of our non profit entity including: Management of the entity's financial assets including annual budgeting and long term financial planning. Monitoring and providing monthly financial statements to the trustees. Oversight of financial reporting to federal, state and local government agencies. FIND OUT MORE.

Fundraising Committee

The Trustees Fundraising Committee provides strategic oversight, support, and guidance to the organization's fundraising efforts.  

The Bacon Free Library is a unique treasure for Natick and the entire region. Maintaining and operating our historic building is an expensive obligation. Some funding has come from an endowment administered by the Trustees, the remaining from fundraising. With more capital projects coming soon, we need to work together to raise significant funds. FIND OUT MORE
