David Parish

David Parish is the former Senior Vice President/Director of Housing and Community Investment for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, where he was responsible for the development and administration of the Bank’s special housing and community development initiatives. n.
After his formal retirement from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, David continued his work for the organization on a part-time basis: focusing on issues of design, communications, and community development; and serving as a consultant on issues related to renewable energy and affordable housing. David also served as a consultant to the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative on issues related to housing and alternative-energy systems.
David has served as a volunteer for many and varied nonprofits related to the environment, housing, finance, and the arts. He lives with his wife in Natick, Massachusetts.
David Parish has a degree in Political Science from the University of Rochester and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Design from Yale University. David served in the Peace Corps in Turkey and Jamaica and has worked for architectural/planning firms in New York City and Bridgeport, Connecticut.
