Carol Fassino

Carol Fassino is a business professional and entrepreneur. Carol served as Director of Operations for a nonprofit biotechnology membership group in Cambridge. She then went onto work in marketing for a biotech consulting firm and as an independent marketing consultant before starting her own business. Currently, Carol is founder of FairTrade Caravans, a social enterprise, people and planet before profit, running online fair trade fundraisers for schools and nonprofits.

Prior to Bacon Free Library, Carol served on the board of Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding program in Lincoln for close to 20 years. She saw the organization through significant growth including a capital campaign to purchase and build a standalone facility. She served one term as chair as well as served on various committees.

Carol was born and raised in Natick and lives with her partner in Framingham. Her son is in college. Carol graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of  Management.
